Ersta elderly homes are part of Ersta diakoni and operate a total of eight homes in Stockholm and Uppsala. Our goal is to provide our residents with a safe and meaningful everyday life, with activities, community, and good and enjoyable meals. With us, everyone should feel at home!

Hannahemmet care and nursing home is located in Råcksta, Bromma, close to nature and transportation. The facility has 54 places distributed across four departments for dementia care and two departments for somatic care. One of the dementia care departments has a Finnish focus, which means that there are Finnish-speaking staff and that we celebrate Finnish holidays, traditions, and culture.

About the role

As a nurse with us, you have a central role in planning, implementing, and further developing the nursing work. You start from each resident's individual goals and needs and work in close collaboration with residents, relatives, nursing staff, as well as colleagues and managers. The role also includes acting as a coach and supervisor for the nursing staff. You are responsible for nursing for two departments with a total of 18 resident places.

We have a nurse on site every day of the week from 07:00 to 16:00. At other times, the nursing staff have access to an on-call nurse via Klara Kompetens.

The working hours are during the day, starting at 07:00 or 08:00 and ending at 15:00 or 16:00. The position includes a rolling 6-week schedule where you work every third weekend. On weekdays, 2-3 nurses are on duty, and on weekends, there is one nurse on duty.

We work in the Welfare journal system (formerly Epsilon) and medications are signed in Alfa e-care/SignIt. Our medical organization is Familjeläkarna.

Your experience

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed nurse with at least two years of experience

• has good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

• has good computer skills

• has experience working in elderly care and with individuals with cognitive impairment.
